Dong-Pil Min received his Ph.D. and Docteur d’Etat es Science (Doctor of Science) in Theoretical Physics from the University of Paris in 1976 and 1980, respectively. He is a professor Emeritus of Seoul National University where he has been a professor of physics for 1980-2009. He was the executive chairman of the Korea Research Council of Fundamental Science and Technology for 2008-2011, which includes 13 national research institutions, having about 5,000 PhDs.
